Fish/Cruise-ability
Having 170 gallons of fuel, a 8' 6" beam and weighing in at 6,500 Ibs, you can run anywhere, anytime. This mid-size offshore sport fisher is built to the standards of seasoned offshore seamen. Don't take our word for it, read their stories on our website under "owner's log".

Cockpit
64 square feet of cockpit laid out for the particular fisherman. Optional coaming pads and choice of engines make the Skipjack 262 the anglers choice.

Bridge
Choice of twin adjustable bucket helm seats, one bucket and companion bench or full bench makes the 262 bridge the most comfortable 26 ft. in it's class.

Head Compartment ~
A full shower, quiet flush head and sink make the 262 a great boat for long range fishing trips.

Power Plants
A variety of engine packages are offered for all SKIPJACK boats in order to meet the specific needs of the owner.

Inside Helm (option)
Throttle/shift is on your left (top corner of the backrest). The all electronic nature of the new Volvo's lend themselves to the simple wiring of the control. Installed is a 2nd tach, which has all engine functions in it's computer "window". Other items are key switch (engine start and stop), tach, trim tabs, outdrive tilt and EVC panel. Engine can only be controlled by one station at a time. Steering wheel is very compact and does not interfere with the stove. Hanging locker is disturbed by about 4 inches on the inside back panel only, hardly noticeable since the steering "cables" are hydraulic lines that "elbow" over and down. Seat is removable and stowable, also adjustable for-aft. Seat slips over a sturdy "grab bar" which then functions as a grab bar when seat is not used (stand and drive is ok because of the 6 ft+ head room).
